Terms of Use

Broommate · Effective July 2, 2026

The service

Broommate is a shared chore board for households: chores become point-valued cards you claim, complete, and turn into rewards you pick together. It's provided by Obicorp ("we"). By creating an account you agree to these terms.

Your account

You need to be an adult (18, or the age of majority where you live) to create a household, manage its subscription, or invite others. Keep your credentials to yourself, and use the app only for coordinating your own household — not for anything unlawful or abusive. You can delete your account at any time in Settings.

Kids in your household

Children may use Broommate only inside a household run by their parent or legal guardian. Kids join with a dedicated kid invite code that only an adult household member can share — by sharing it, that adult confirms they are the child's parent or legal guardian and consents to the child's use of Broommate. Kid accounts have a restricted role: they can do chores, earn points, and suggest prizes, but cannot manage the household, change roles, or make purchases. See the Privacy Policy for how we handle children's data.

Premium subscription

Your content

The chores, goals, and prizes your household creates belong to you. We only store and display them to run the service (see the Privacy Policy).

Fair warning

Broommate is provided "as is". We work hard to keep it reliable, but we can't guarantee uninterrupted service and aren't liable for indirect damages — and no, the app completing your chores for you is not a covered feature. We may update these terms; material changes will be announced in the app.
